Lee Hyun-Joong to try out for NBA again in Portland in Summer League!



South Korean basketball standout Lee Hyun-joong will try his hand at the NBA through the Summer League.

His agency, A2G, announced that Hyunjoong has been invited by the Portland Timberwolves to play in the Summer League.

This will be the second year in a row that Hyunjoong has stepped onto a Summer League court after playing in the league last season with Philadelphia.

The NBA Summer League is a competition where rookies and first- and second-year players team up to showcase their skills during the off-season.

A standout performance in Summer League can lead to a full contract with an NBA team.

Last season, Hyunjoong Lee played for Philadelphia, scoring 10 points and grabbing three rebounds in a Summer League game against New Orleans.

Portland was the team that drafted Ha, 고스톱사이트 who became the first Korean to play in the NBA, in the 2004 rookie draft.

Lee will be ready to play in the first game of the Summer League against San Antonio on July 14 in Las Vegas.

Following the game against San Antonio, Portland will play Philadelphia on the 16th, Washington on the 18th, and Charlotte on the 20th in their Summer League schedule.

If Hyunjoong doesn't sign with an NBA team through the Summer League, he will most likely play in the Australian league, where he is currently on a three-year contract.

Lee signed a three-year contract with the Illawarra Hawks of the Australian Basketball League last July.

The 6-foot-1 shooter is the son of Lee Yoon-hwan, who played for Samsung Electronics, and Sung Jung-ah, a silver medalist in women's basketball at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
